ASTM D3762 Test for Adhesive Bonded Surface Durability of Aluminum

This test method is intended for use in aluminium-aluminum applications, it can be used to determine the surface toughness of other metals and plastics, provided that consideration is given to the thickness and hardness of the bonded ones.

This test method is not a quantitative breaking strength test method. Refer to Test Method D 3433 to measure the breaking strength.
