Each test result will conform to the applicable requirement, otherwise the overall result of the entire batch will be considered "failed". In case different single results are obtained on equal samples with the same test, the worst value shall be stated as the test result.

A pair of samples of each size will be tested. If repetitions result in different results on equal samples, the worst value will be reported as the test result.

This standard contains requirements and test methods for toe caps and inserts that provide resistance to mechanical penetration and function as components of personal protective equipment shoes. There are two types of noses. The internal toe cap is a piece that is placed inside the shoe and under the upper. The external toe, on the other hand, is a toe piece that is placed on the shoe and on the upper part.
