We can provide the necessary intelligence and information to facilitate the MIL-STD testing process. Our outstanding features include a 3000-meter firing range, drop tower facility, a vibration test system capable of testing up to 40.000 force pounds, and a range of hazardous material shakers that can be operated at temperatures between -150 and 300 ° F. With these and other advanced technologies, EUROLAB is equipped to meet the testing and evaluation needs of the defense industry in a future-friendly manner.

In our facilities, we can speed up compliance with MIL-STD-662F, NIJ 0101.06 and other standards. Our key features include indoor and outdoor series, non-ballistic test laboratories (STAB), X-ray CT scan and environmental conditioning, as well as a range of advanced data collection tools such as Doppler radar, Phantom high speed cameras and FARO laser scanning software.

Our test lab offers expertise in developing special regulation test protocols for military, aerospace and other applications. Our team can provide bullet and rocket engine analysis, internal ballistic modeling and other services required to complete the MIL-STD-810 test.

For the MIL-DTL-901E (MIL-STD-901D) test, our laboratory with floating shock platforms capable of testing up to 125.000 pounds, can also perform MIL-STD-167-1 vibration test, temperature and humidity test and more.

EUROLAB also has the equipment and staff to perform tests in material testing laboratories in accordance with MIL-PRF-55110, MIL-PRF-31032, MIL-PRF-50884, MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-883 standards.

Military Specifications Tested

MIL-STD-810 - “Ministry of Defense Test Method Standard for Environmental Engineering Issues and Laboratory Tests” - covers most of the environmental factors encountered at every stage of the life of military equipment. The MIL-STD-810 test involves copying these conditions in a controlled laboratory environment using temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, acceleration and other simulation equipment.

MIL-STD-461 - "Defense Requirements for Control of Electromagnetic Interference Properties of Subsystems and Equipment" - meets EMC and EMI requirements of all electrical and electronic equipment used in defense applications. EUROLAB has a facility network that can perform MIL-STD-461 testing within the company using highly controlled, non-echo rooms. We can also perform the MIL-STD-461 test on site for components that are too large or too expensive to move to one of our locations.

MIL-STD-2105 - "Ministry of Defense Test Method for Non-Nuclear Ammunition Standard Hazard Assessment Tests" - caliber ammunition including part impact testing, external fire, fast and slow firing test, and small and medium-sized bullet impact testing. EUROLAB is equipped with numerous firing ranges and sophisticated monitoring equipment to test for all MIL-STD-2105 requirements.

MIL-DTL-901 - "Shock Tests, High Impact, Department of Defense Requirements for Ship Machinery, Equipment and Systems" - is the military standard for military standards for ship equipment. MIL-DTL-901E certification is required for basic devices, auxiliary components and subassemblies, including those required for both safety and combat, and those that may be dangerous to the crew when exposed to shock. Shock testing according to MIL-S-910 standards can be done in EUROLAB laboratories. 

MIL-STD-167 - “Ministry of Defense Test Method Standard: Mechanical Vibrations of Ship Equipment” - similar to MIL-STD-901D, but especially covers the effects of environmental and internally stimulated vibrations on ship equipment. Reproduction of these factors in a controlled laboratory environment requires powerful shakers and precise instrumentation. EUROLAB has the most equipped facility in the country for MIL-STD-167 vibration testing. 

In addition to the above, we can test other MIL standards including MIL-STD-120 (measurement inspection), MIL-STD-248 (welding and soldering procedures), MIL-STD-516 (flight availability) and MIL-STD -767 ( check for hardware cleanliness).
