Trigger Safety Tests

Firearms require extensive testing before they are suitable for use in the consumer market or in war situations. Our facilities are specifically designed to meet these testing requirements. Our test series are equipped with industry-leading monitoring and data collection equipment that simplifies both regulatory compliance and overall QA.

Our team of field engineers has a wide history of firearms' safety testing. We can evaluate your needs to determine the appropriate order of control and testing to help you deliver a superior and safer product to the market.

Firearm Function and Reliability

  • Clamp and cable cutting test
  • Shock test
  • Impact test
  • Plug torque test

Some of the unique features available in EUROLAB are:

FARO software: NTS firearm testing facilities use FARO Arm and Geomagic quantify software, a series of laser scanning tools for ballistic monitoring, which can measure ranges as small as 0.0006 ”.
Doppler radar: We measure the ballistic velocity using the Doppler radar.
High speed video: A pair of high-speed cameras capture data at 250.000 (Phantom 7.2) and 500.000 (Phantom V312) frames per second.

Vehicles like these provide more information about firearm performance, making it easier to manage security risks. EUROLAB also offers complete environmental simulation features to perform weapon safety testing in a wide variety of weather conditions.

Making Test Data Accessible

EUROLAB's firearm security testing facilities use a secure online server that allows you to access results, reports and other important information online. This helps you to improve cycle times, streamline your workflow and reduce your redundancy.
