DIN 18035-3 Sports Fields Part 3: Drainage Test

Test shafts are placed along the drain collectors at intervals of not more than 110 m and in the case of closed pipelines, as well as at every change in slope and direction.

Settlement shafts must be arranged in the transition from drainage pipes to closed pipes. Climbable seat shafts and test shafts must be at least DN 1000. The bottom of the pond should be at least 50 cm below the bottom of the drainage pipe.

In sports facilities (grass and terracing), whose surface is subject to changes in height due to use, no manhole cover can be arranged at the same height within the obstacle-free area according to DIN 18035-1.

Pipeless drain slots shall be 40 mm to 80 mm wide and at least 200 mm deep under the subfloor, perpendicular to the slope of the subfloor and connected to transverse drainage strips at regular intervals.
