Water Chemistry Test

EUROLAB performs environmental, drinking and industrial water chemistry analysis to identify and measure the chemical components and properties of water samples.

Water Chemistry Test

We work with environmental consultants and industries to ensure that water chemistry complies with legal requirements, guidelines, and that water is safe and the environment is protected.

The chemical analysis of water gives information about the health and functioning of lakes, rivers, oceans and groundwater. It also shows the limits of the ability of a body of water to get some degree of pollution without harming the water system, aquatic plants and animals and people who can use water.

Water chemistry analysis methods

Using routine analytical methods, techniques such as gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, it can detect and measure all natural elements and their inorganic compounds and a wide range of organic chemical species.

Special organoleptic methods can be used to detect low concentrations of odors in water treatment plants that produce drinking water and in some industrial processes that use products with their own flavors and odors.

Water can be analyzed using different techniques:

  • Colorimetric - It is used to find the concentration of a chemical element in a solution with the help of a color reagent. It is valid for both organic and inorganic compounds.
  • Titrometric - A technique using a solution of known concentration to determine the level of an unknown solution.
  • Digital devices - Electronic devices, including colorimeters and photometers, are available as electronic devices for water testing.

Chemical analysis of water

Common chemicals detected in water include:

  • Chlorine
  • PH
  • Temperature
  • Iron
  • Fluoride
  • Blur
  • Dissolved oxygen

EUROLAB's state-of-the-art laboratories use a wide range of water chemistry analysis methods to ensure that drinking water, wastewater, groundwater and seawater are safe for humans, animals and the environment.
