EUROLAB Dynamometer Test

The dynamometer laboratory has more than 5 large dynamos from 600HP to 20HP. EUROLAB specializes in the design and construction of instrumentation and control equipment, integrated test fixtures, headsets and drivelines, adapted to meet specific customer requirements.

EUROLAB's dynamometer testing expertise covers almost every aspect of a vehicle's drivetrain: transmissions, transaxles, transfer boxes, rear axles, U-joints, half shafts and complete drivetrain systems. Innovative stand-by conditioning can create warm, cold and special environments in any rotating component. A unique test supports hot, cold, salt / sand slurry, torque and speed, while monitoring bed temperatures with infrared cameras. Accessory drive components can be exposed to high rpm (up to 9.000 rpm), salt, hot, cold with simultaneous performance testing.

Competency features include:

  • Tracking and absorption at speeds up to 15.000 rpm and over 6.000 ft-lb of torque
    Torque / speed profile for transmissions, PTUs, gearboxes, axles, drive shafts, automatic control, monitoring and data collection with rotating machine analysis.
  • Simultaneous application of dynamic axial and / or radial load on rotating components on threaded hubs, spindles, CV joints.
  • Environmental exposure to rotating components, including temperature on engines, alternators, U-joints and bearings, slurry and salt spray.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Tests
