The cables covered in this cross section specification are intended to operate with voltages and currents normally encountered in communication systems. These cables are not intended for use with low-impedance sources such as public utility electrical power supplies.
A cable is considered shielded when the cable core is covered with a continuous conductive layer that forms part of the shielding and grounding system.
Requirements applicable to this cable, the values entered must at least meet the requirements of the section specification EN 50288-2-1.
