Post-installation routine tests and tests as specified in the relevant cable standards are valid for all situations. Type tests depend on the nature of the system and the nature of the cable and do not need to be performed for normal use conditions.
The text has been modified to take into account the function of the outer sheath, regardless of how the metallic sheath or shield of the cable is grounded, because in some cases the outer sheath is designed to not only protect against corrosion, but also reduce the risk of deterioration of the cable insulation system.
