Board-mount connectors with female contacts are provided with suitable terminations according to IEC 326 and for printed boards using a 97 mm (2,54 inch) grid as specified in IEC 0,1.
Fixed connectors with male contacts are provided with solder contacts or winding contacts. The ends of the fixed connectors are positioned to be suitable for use with motherboards using 97 mm (2,54 inch) grid as specified in IEC 0,1 as well as automatic wiring techniques.
A line passing through the nominal position of the centers of the mounting holes in the mounting plane of the fixed connector is used as the reference point. The nominal center of the mounting hole near the 32 contact is used as the reference point.
Original dimensions are in millimeters. The drawings are shown in the first angle projection. The shape of the connectors may differ from the supplied drawings as long as the specified dimensions are not affected.
Permissible operating voltages depend on the application and applicable or specified safety requirements. For this reason, gap and leakage distances are given as operating characteristics. In practice, reductions in leakage or clearance distances may occur due to the conductive nature of the printed panel or the cabling used and should be taken into account accordingly.
