There should be a site where samples can be transported by non-pressurized air transport and where significant differences in ambient temperature may exist between the facility and the examination laboratory.
For daily calibration checks of the chromatograph, it is appropriate to use a standard gas mixture containing a known suitable amount of each of the gas components in proportions similar to the common ratios of gases extracted from transformer oils.
