For test purposes, test boards according to IEC EN 61188-5-1 and IEC EN 62326-4 or according to a specification given by the manufacturer should be used. Unless otherwise specified in the component specification or manufacturer's specification, four-layer printed circuit test cards will be used for testing.
The thickness of the test plate should be that for which the push-in connection is designed. When the press joint is designed for use with different plate thicknesses, the test plate chosen will be the thinnest nominal thickness for which the press joint is intended to be used.
