The pipe should be marked along its entire length, preferably at regular intervals of 1 m but no longer than 3 m. Where this is technically impractical, the mark will be on a label attached to the product at both ends or on the packaging.
The manufacturer must package or document the minimum inside diameter, minimum bend radius and classification for the piping system.
The swingarm should be moved back and forth along a total angle of (180 ± 5)° evenly distributed on both sides of the vertical axis. The assembly must be subjected to 40 stretches per minute (5 + 5000). A squat is a continuous cycle of almost sinusoidal movements starting from an upright position.
After testing, there should be no visible signs of fragmentation or cracking in normal or corrected vision without additional magnification.
The sample must be fixed to the swing member by means of the termination pipe joint, so that when the pipe is in the middle of its movement, the pipe axis is vertical and passes through the swing axis. The sample apparatus should be conditioned for 2 hours or until the sample reaches the declared temperature, whichever is longer.
When special devices are required for mounting ducts and duct accessories, these should be sufficient to remove the protective lining from the channel, otherwise the protective coating must be removed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
