This standard also applies to the functional safety of safety-related low-complexity temperature sensing controls and systems.
This standard also applies to the electrical safety of temperature sensing controls with non-electrical outputs, such as refrigerant flow and gas controls.
This standard applies to ac or dc powered temperature sensing controls with a rated voltage not exceeding 690 V ac or 600 V dc. Where the response value has an important purpose for the protection of the user or the environment, the value defined in the appropriate equipment standard or specified by the manufacturer will apply.
