The cutters will be equipped with a base plate that surrounds the cutter in the plate plane to prevent accidental contact with the cutter during normal operation.

Handles should be shaped or positioned in such a way as to minimize the risk of unintentional contact of the user's hand with rotating parts. For example, if the grip area of the handle is provided with a suitable covers or barrier at the ends adjacent to the body of the tool, or the distance from a defined measuring point on the handle surface of the tool to the cutter is a minimum of 120 mm.

If the motor body is considered the only gripping area, it must be shaped to minimize the risk of the user inadvertently coming into contact with rotating parts. Accidental contact of the user's hand is considered sufficiently prevented if there is a 6 mm high barrier between the grip surface and the breaker, or if the main switch area is at least 120 mm from the breaker. consider any baseplate that may be attached.

When the cutting tool, which is likely to produce the most negative results, is installed, the face of the fence plane is aligned with the axis of the milling spindle, and the guard is in the normal cutting tool coating position.

If any router permitted to be mounted in the router table is equipped with a momentary ignition switch, a device must be provided in the router table to lock the momentary switch of the router in the "on" position. This device will be disabled when the router is removed from its work stand.
