The end user may only use batteries that fully meet all of this standard and other safety-related requirements such as IEC EN 62133-2.
This standard covers secondary lithium batteries and batteries with a range of chemistry. Each electrochemical couple has a characteristic voltage range at which it releases electrical capacity, a characteristic nominal voltage, and a characteristic final voltage during discharge. Users of secondary lithium batteries and batteries are requested to consult the manufacturer for advice.
