ETSI EN 300 019 Environmental Conditions and Storage Test Standard for Environmental Engineering Telecommunications Equipment

The purpose of this document is to describe a class of environmental conditions to which equipment may be exposed and their severity. Only severe conditions that may be harmful to the equipment are included. The stated considerations are those that are unlikely to be exceeded; usually less than 1%.

ETSI EN 300 019 Environmental Conditions and Storage Test Standard for Environmental Engineering Telecommunications Equipment

This standard applies to equipment installed for stationary use, including installation work, downtime, maintenance and repair periods in unprotected locations.

Absolute Humidity, mass of water vapor in grams associated with one cubic meter of dry air in an air/water vapor mixture

Non-weather-protected Location means the location where the equipment is not protected from direct weather influences.

It means the relative humidity of water vapor in moist air at a given temperature to the partial pressure of water vapor in saturated air at the same temperature.

Fixed Use refers to the use of equipment that is rigidly mounted on structures or mounting fixtures or permanently located in a particular location.
