IEC 60335-2-30 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances, Safety, Part 2-30: Special Rules for Room Heaters

As far as possible, this standard addresses the common hazards presented by appliances that are faced by all persons in and around the home. However, it is generally ignored.

Attention is drawn to the following:

• Additional requirements may be required for devices intended for use in mobile vehicles or ships or aircraft;
• In many countries, additional requirements are set by national health authorities, national authorities responsible for labor protection and similar authorities;
• Additional requirements may be required for appliances intended for use in environments with combustible dust, such as barns or barns.
