This part of IEC 60811 will be used in conjunction with IEC 60811-100. Unless otherwise stated, all test procedures should be performed at room temperature, except for the time in the aging oven.

Prepared test pieces should be placed in a desiccator for at least 20 hours at ambient temperature. Immediately after removal from the desiccator, each test piece shall be weighed precisely to one decimal place, in milligrams.
