IEC 61000-4-11 Voltage Drops, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations Immunity Test Standard

IEC 61000-4-11 defines immunity test methods and the preferred range of test levels for electrical and electronic equipment connected to low voltage power supply networks for voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations. This standard applies to electrical and electronic equipment with a rated input current not exceeding 50 A per phase for connection to 60 Hz or 16 Hz ac networks. It does not apply to electrical and electronic equipment for connection to 400 Hz ac networks.

Tests for these networks will be covered by future IEC standards. The purpose of this standard is to establish a common reference for evaluating the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to voltage drops, short interruptions and voltage variations.

It is a core EMC publication for use by the IEC's product committees. IEC product committees are responsible for determining whether this immunity testing standard should be applied and, if applicable, determining appropriate testing levels.

IEC 61000-4-11 test services are provided by EUROLAB to businesses within the scope of voltage drops, short interruptions and voltage variations immunity tests.
