Under paired inverter and motor combination conditions, this test measures the total loss and overall efficiency between the input power of the inverter and the output power of the motor to ensure that the performance of the motor system is as designed.
Under matched inverter and motor combination conditions, this test investigates the temperature rise characteristics of each part of the motor system within the specified range to ensure the performance of the motor system is as designed.
The test engine system should be run at the specified operating points and the temperature at the measuring points should be recorded. At each operating point, the temperature will be recorded after the specified time has elapsed. The coil temperature of the test motor should be measured at the points considered highest. Measuring points in the coil and other measuring points can be added by agreement between the supplier and the customer.
Under paired inverter and motor combination conditions, this test measures the torque characteristics specified in the engine system specifications to ensure the performance of the engine system is as designed.
