IEC 61000-4-29 Test Standard for Voltage Drops, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations in DC Input Power Port Immunity Tests

Electric Electronic Tests

IEC 61000-4-29 Test Standard for Voltage Drops, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations in DC Input Power Port Immunity Tests

The purpose of this standard is to provide a common and repeatable basis for testing electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to voltage drops, short interruptions or voltage fluctuations at DC input power ports.

IEC 61000-4-29 Test Standard for Voltage Drops, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations in DC Input Power Port Immunity Tests

This standard defines:

The range of test levels;
Test generator;
Test setup;
Test procedure.

Ripple on the DC input power port is not covered by this part of IEC 61000. Covered by IEC 61000-4-17 1)
This standard does not specify tests to be applied to particular apparatus or systems. Its main purpose is to provide a general baseline reference to IEC product committees. These product committees (or equipment users and manufacturers) remain responsible for the appropriate selection and severity level of tests to be applied to their equipment.

IEC 61000-4-29 testing services are provided by EUROLAB to businesses within the scope of voltage drops, short interruptions and voltage changes in DC input power port immunity tests.
