IEC 60092-101 Electrical Installations on Ships, Part 101: Standard Test Method for Definitions and General Requirements

This edition includes the following important technical changes from the previous edition:

• The applicability of the standard has been changed to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC:
• The design temperature table has been simplified;
• The article on power supply system specifications has been rewritten;
• Information on the degree of pollution has been added to the article on clearance and penetration distances;
• Added a clause on environmental impact;
• The article on the classification test for materials has been deleted;
• The appendix on the flame retardant test for cables has been deleted;
• The appendix for testing on bundled wire or cables under fire conditions has been deleted.
