Cables manufactured according to IEC EN 61158 for data exchange and process control allow a controller-level communication point to be connected to multiple (hundreds) digital or analog receiver points. IEC EN 61158 cables are usually shielded with Aluminum Polyester Tape and tinned copper wire braid (TCWB) or steel wire armor (SWA) to protect against interference and electromagnetic interference.
