The following test arrangements are considered:

  • cable tray;
  • channels;
  • Closed channel.

Although this standard covers four-pair data class cables, the same principles can be applied to other cable types.

This temperature is crucial for the compatibility of the insulating material at the interface with the conductor to prevent overheating and sequential deterioration of the insulating and conductive properties.
