IEC EN 62054-21 Electricity Measurement (AC) - Tariff and Load Control - Part 21: Special Requirements for Time Switches

This standard does not give any requirements for the structural details inside the time switch. Where time switch functionality is integrated into multifunctional electrical measuring equipment, the relevant parts of this standard apply.

This standard covers time switches with analog mechanical dials or electronic digital displays. When using this standard with IEC EN 62052-21, the requirements of this standard take precedence over those of IEC EN 62052-21 with respect to any item already covered in it.

Test levels are considered minimum values ​​to guarantee proper operation of equipment under normal operating conditions. For the specific application, other test levels may be required and should be agreed between the user and the manufacturer.
