  • 300/500 V with or without shield (1 mm2, 1,5 mm2 and 2,5 mm2, number of connections) 2 to 40 cores);
  • 0,6/1 kV shielded or unshielded, (1,5 mm2 to 50 mm2, 2, 3 and 4 cores).

Not all conductor sizes or core counts are specified for each type. All cables have class 60228 tinned copper conductors, halogen-free insulation and halogen-free sheath according to EN 5. They are for use in railway cars as fixed wiring or as wiring that encounters limited flexing during operation.

The requirements provide for a continuous conductor temperature not exceeding 90°C and a maximum temperature for short-circuit conditions of 5°C based on 200 s time. In fire conditions, cables exhibit special performance characteristics in terms of maximum allowable flame spread (flame spread) and maximum allowable smoke and toxic gas emission. It should be read in conjunction with EN 50264-3-2, Part 1 "General requirements".

Identification of each core in a cable, with the exception of the grounding conductor, must be made by the printed number or color. The number will be printed in a contrasting color to the main color. If a color other than black is specified, it will be a clearly distinguishable color in accordance with HD 308 and will be durable. The color will be across the entire length of the insulation or on its surface.
