IEC EN 61754-4 Fiber Optic Interconnect Devices - Test for SC Type Connector Family

The main connector for the SC type connector family is a single-position plug connector characterized by a nominal ferrule diameter of 2,5 mm. It includes a spring-loaded push-pull linkage mechanism relative to the height in the optical axis direction. The plug has a single male switch that can be used to steer and limit the relative position between the connector and the component with which it is mated. The optical alignment mechanism of the connector is sleeve style.
