This standard does not cover chain saws designed for use with a guide plate and riving knife, or with a support, or in any other way, such as as a stationary or portable machine. This standard does not apply to chain saws for tree care as defined in ISO 11681-2.
The chainsaws covered by this standard are designed to be operated with the right hand on the rear handle and the left hand on the forearm only.
