• Or in conjunction with an accessory type test: Specimens used for resin type testing should be taken from the same batch used for accessory type testing. In the absence of material from the same batch, the samples used for the resin type test shall be taken from the available material as agreed between the supplier and the user.

International test methods are specified in this standard when available; For tests where there is no international test method or the test method must be adapted to some conditions, the method or special conditions are specified in IEC EN 60455-2.
