EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of UL 746A standard. This standard specifies short-term test procedures to be used for the evaluation of materials used for parts for specific applications in electrical products.
Additional Test Procedures, along with specified requirements, provide data on the physical, electrical, flammability, thermal and other properties of the materials in question, and these investigations provide data for the material manufacturer, moulder, end product manufacturer, safety engineers and other interested parties.
A product containing new or different features, characteristics, components, materials or systems from those covered by the requirements of this standard and involving a risk of fire or electric shock or injury to persons shall be evaluated using the appropriate additional component and tip. - Product requirements to maintain the level of safety as originally expected by the purpose of this standard. A product whose properties, characteristics, components, materials or systems conflict with certain requirements or provisions of this standard is not conforming to this standard. A revision of the requirements will be proposed and adopted in accordance with the methods used to develop, revise and implement this standard.
