EN 12895 Industrial Trucks, Electromagnetic Compatibility Standard

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 12895 standard. This European standard is applicable to the power source defined in ISO/DIS 5053-1 (just referred to as truck) and to industrial trucks, regardless of electrical/electronic systems when used in residential, commercial, light industrial and industrial environments (specified in EN).

This European standard states:

• Requirements and limit values ​​for electromagnetic emission and immunity to external electromagnetic fields;
• Procedure and criteria for testing trucks and their electrical/electronic systems.

This European Standard does not apply to:

• Non-stackable low-lift stacker transporters;
• Stacking of high-lift stacker transporters;
• Pedestrian-propelled trucks, except those equipped with load-bearing devices with electrically operated lifting devices;
• Trucks intended for public use) exceeding a maximum speed of 30 km/h;
• Positioning system of driverless industrial trucks;
• Interaction between systems in trucks;
• Interference with on-board radio equipment;
• Equipment connected to the AC mains used only when the forklift is not in use.
