The technical requirements of this standard apply within the scope of the environmental profile for the operation of the equipment in accordance with its intended use. Maximum output power is measured as the sum of the maximum output power at each UE antenna connector. The measurement time will be at least one subframe (1 ms). For inter-band carrier aggregation with uplink assigned to two E-UTRA bands, the UE maximum output power will be measured over all component carriers in different bands. If each band has separate antenna connectors, the maximum output power is measured as the sum of the maximum output power at each UE antenna connector.
Spurious emissions are emissions resulting from undesirable transmitter effects such as harmonic emissions, interference emissions, intermodulation products and frequency conversion products, but do not include out-of-band emissions.
To improve measurement accuracy, precision and efficiency, the resolution bandwidth can be smaller than the measurement bandwidth. When the resolution bandwidth is smaller than the measurement bandwidth, the result will be integrated over the measurement bandwidth to obtain the equivalent noise bandwidth of the measurement bandwidth.
