ISO 27018 Information Technology - Testing to Function as PII Processors

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ISO 27018 standard. This standard specifies widely accepted control objectives, controls and guidelines for the implementation of measures to protect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with the privacy principles in ISO/IEC 29100 for the public cloud computing environment.

Specifically, this document specifies guidelines based on ISO/IEC 27002, taking into account the regulatory requirements for PII protection that may apply in the context of the public cloud services provider's information security risk environment(s).

This document applies to organizations of all types and sizes that provide information processing services as PII processors via cloud computing under contract with other organizations, including public and private companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

The guidelines in this document may also relate to organizations acting as PII controllers. However, PII controllers may be subject to additional PII protection legislation, regulations and obligations that do not apply to PII processors. This document is not intended to cover such additional obligations.
