The interface is a 2mm barrel type charging interface. This standard does not include the complete charger and the internal functions of the device. Chargers and devices shall comply with applicable EMC and safety standards.

The 2mm barrel interface can have a wide output current range and the current may vary with other parameters but must remain within the specified charging current/voltage window.

The purpose of this part of the specification is related to in-system EMC to ensure that the charger connected to the device via the interface does not cause interference with possible radio receiver reception in the device.

The minimum charging current is 2,0 mA when the voltage is between 4,65 V and 300 V. During charging, the current and voltage values ​​on the interface should not exceed the charging window shown. This will work within the window of the charger and the devices will accept any charger that works within the window. The maximum voltage is 9,30 V and the maximum current is 950 mA.
