GB-T 17625-1 Electromagnetic Compatibility - Harmonic Current Emissions Test

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, provides precise and fast testing services within the scope of GB-T 17625-1 test. This standard deals with injecting public power supply system harmonic current restrictions. This standard provides limits under certain test conditions that can produce input current harmonics. This standard applies to every public input ready input current of low voltage distribution system of electrical and electronic equipment not more than 16A.

GB-T 17625-1 Electromagnetic Compatibility - Harmonic Current Emissions Test

Non-dedicated arc welding equipment, the input current of each phase not greater than 16 A within the scope of this section. Provisions for special arc welding equipment are given in IEC 60974-1, not covered in this section, mounting limit may be given according to IEC 61000-3-4 or IEC 61000-3-12. In this section, type tests are carried out according to the test. Since the rated voltage is below the 220V limit (phase voltage), the system has not been taken into account yet.

GB-T 17625.2 is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard that sets limits on the emission of harmonic currents produced by equipment connected to public low-voltage power supply networks.

Harmonic currents are caused by non-linear loads, which are devices that draw non-sinusoidal current waveforms from the power supply. Examples of non-linear loads are power electronics devices such as switched-mode power supplies, inverters, and variable speed drives.

The GB-T 17625.2 standard sets limits on the harmonic currents that equipment can generate to avoid interference with other electrical equipment and maintain power quality in the public power supply network. The standard defines limits for both the magnitude and frequency content of harmonic currents up to the 40th harmonic.

Compliance with the GB-T 17625.2 standard is typically demonstrated by tests performed in a laboratory where the equipment under test is connected to a simulated power supply network and harmonic current emissions are measured. The equipment is considered to comply with the standard if the emissions are within the specified limits.
