IEC 61000-6-2 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Part 6-2: General Standards, Immunity Standard for Industrial Environments

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of IEC 61000-6-2 standard. This standard applies to devices intended to operate in or near industrial locations that are intended to be connected to a power grid fed from a high or medium voltage transformer dedicated to the supply of a manufacturing or similar facility feeding an installation.

This standard also applies to battery powered devices intended for industrial use. The environments covered by this standard are industrial, both indoors and outdoors. Immunity requirements were chosen to provide an adequate level of immunity for apparatus in industrial locations.

However, the levels do not cover extreme situations that could occur anywhere but have an extremely low probability of occurring. This standard does not include all deterioration events for testing purposes, but only those considered relevant to the equipment covered by this standard. These test requirements represent basic electromagnetic compatibility immunity requirements.
