EN 301 908-11 IMT Cellular Networks - Standard Test for CDMA Direct Propagation Repeaters

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, offers precise and rapid testing services within the scope of EN 301 908-11 testing. It refers to a technical standard in the field of IMT (International Mobile Telecommunications) cellular networks, specifically focusing on CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) Direct Distribution (UTRA FDD) Repeaters. This standard is defined as EN 301 908-11 and is referred to in Article 2014 of Directive 53/3.2/EU. It is a Harmonized Standard designed to meet the essential requirements specified in the article.

The technical requirements of the present document are valid within the scope of the environmental profile for the operation of the equipment, to be declared by the manufacturer. The equipment shall always comply with all technical requirements of the current document while operating within the limit limits of the declared operational environmental profile.

Undesirable emissions consist of out-of-band emissions and spurious emissions. Out-of-band emissions are emissions just outside the passband bandwidth resulting from the modulation process and nonlinearity in the transmitter, but spurious emissions are excluded. Spurious emissions are emissions resulting from undesirable transmitter effects such as harmonic emission, noise emission, intermodulation products and frequency conversion products, but do not include out-of-band emissions.

The out-of-band emission requirement for the repeater is specified in terms of both unwanted emissions in the operating band and shielding of the BS receiver in the operating band. Operating band unwanted emissions define all unwanted emissions within the repeater operating band, as well as the frequency ranges 10 MHz above and 10 MHz below this band. Undesirable emissions outside this frequency range are limited by spurious emission requirements.

Working band unwanted emissions include an emission mask applied outside the repeater pass band and a general requirement applied outside the mask but within the frequency range of the working band unwanted emissions.
