IEC EN 61000-4-27 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-27: Standard Test for Test and Measurement Techniques

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, provides precise and fast testing services within the scope of IEC EN 61000-4-27 testing. IEC EN 61000-4-27 considers immunity tests for electrical or electronic equipment (device and system) in its electromagnetic environment. Only conducted phenomena are considered, including immunity tests for equipment connected to public and industrial networks.

IEC EN 61000-4-27 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-27: Standard Test for Test and Measurement Techniques

It provides a reference for evaluating the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment when exposed to unstable power supply voltage. Applies to 16 Hz/50 Hz three-phase electrical or electronic equipment with a rated line current of up to 60 A per phase.

This standard does not apply to equipment with a three-phase positive neutral connection if this equipment operates as a group of single-phase loads connected between phase and neutral. This standard does not apply to electrical or electronic equipment connected to ac.

The immunity test levels required for a particular electromagnetic environment, along with the performance criteria, are specified in the product, product family or generic standards as applicable. This immunity test should be included in the product, product family or general standards when equipment is likely to perform or function poorly when exposed to a voltage unbalanced supply voltage.

The generator shall have provisions to prevent the emission of disturbances which, when injected into the power supply network, could affect the test results.

Unless otherwise specified by the generic or product standard committee, the climatic conditions in the laboratory will be within the limits specified by their respective manufacturers for the operation of the EUT and test equipment.

Test results shall be classified in terms of loss of function or performance degradation of the tested equipment according to a performance level defined by the manufacturer or the person requesting the test or agreed between the manufacturer and the purchaser of the product.
