EN 301 908-3 IMT Cellular Networks - Harmonized Standard for Access to the Radio Spectrum - CDMA Direct Propagation Base Stations

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, offers precise and rapid testing services within the scope of EN 301 908-3 testing. EN 301 908-3 relates to CDMA Direct Distribution (UTRA FDD) Base Stations (BS) within International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) cellular networks.

EN 301 908-3 IMT Cellular Networks - Harmonized Standard for Access to the Radio Spectrum - CDMA Direct Propagation Base Stations

IMT is a global standard for wireless communications, often associated with the development of 3G and 4G mobile technologies.

CDMA is a digital cellular technology that uses spread spectrum techniques for communication. It refers to the frequency division duplex mode used in UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System).

In the context of mobile networks, Base Stations are fixed transceiver equipment that facilitates communication with mobile devices.

The technical requirements of the present document are valid within the scope of the environmental profile for the operation of the equipment to be declared by the supplier. The equipment shall always comply with all technical requirements of the current document while operating within the limit limits of the declared operational environmental profile.

The requirements in the present document are based on the assumption that the operating band (e.g. bands I, III, VII and VIII) is shared between systems in the IMT-2000 family (also GSM for bands III and VIII) or systems with compatible features.

Out-of-band emissions are unwanted emissions just outside the channel bandwidth that arise from the modulation process and nonlinearity in the transmitter, but spurious emissions are excluded. This out-of-band emission limit is determined in terms of a spectrum emission mask for the transmitter and the adjacent channel leakage power ratio.
