EN 301 908-8 Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Spectrum - Harmonized Standard Test for TDMA Single Carrier

The present document is valid for user equipment, repeaters and base stations for IMT that fall within the scope of one of the other parts of ETSI EN 2000 301, except for IMT-908 FDMA/TDMA (DECT). This standard also covers relevant auxiliary equipment.

This standard is part of a series of standards developed by ETSI and designed to fit a modular structure to cover radio equipment covered by the Radio Equipment Directive.

The technical requirements of the present document are valid within the scope of the environmental profile for the operation of the equipment, to be declared by the manufacturer. The equipment shall always comply with all technical requirements of the current document while operating within the limit limits of the declared operational environmental profile.

The requirements in the current document are based on the assumption that the operating band is shared between systems in the IMT family or systems with compatible features.

For BS capable of multi-band operation, the requirements in the current document apply to each supported operating band unless otherwise stated. For emissions tests, all operating bands will be activated according to the current test configuration.

This test is only valid for Base Stations except BS with single RAT GSM/EDGE capability and is also valid for repeaters. This testing will be performed on a representative configuration of the equipment under test. For a multi-enclosure BS, the BS part with Radio digital unit and the Radio unit can be tested separately.
