Which composite images generated from multiple cameras of the surround vision system specified in IEC EN 63033-4, IEC EN 63033-1 contain the FOV and UN Regulation No. Specifies which display requirements specified in 46 apply.

IEC EN 63033-4 Multimedia Systems and Equipment for Vehicles - Peripheral Vision System - Part 4: Application for Camera Monitoring Systems

The system's field of view is the visible area displayed by composite images (i.e. from the multiple cameras that make up the system) or the image captured by any single camera and then converted and displayed. If the purpose of applying this system is to replace an existing type-approval required for vehicle equipment, it should follow the relevant regulation. For example, if the system is intended to be used in such an application, the FOV is UN Regulation No. 46 (classes I to VI) will capture the relevant FOV.

The field of view should be such that the driver can see a flat, horizontal section of the road at least 5 m wide, which is parallel to the median longitudinal vertical plane and bounded by a plane passing through the outermost point of the road. It is located on the driver's side of the vehicle and extends towards the horizon, 30 m behind the driver's eye points. In addition, the road must be 4 m wide visible to the driver, starting from a point 1 m behind the vertical plane, passing through the outermost point of the vehicle and bounded by a plane parallel to the mid-longitudinal vertical plane.

For composite images of the left and right cameras, the discontinuous images must be clearly separated from each other. The image of the right-hand field of view should be presented to the right of the longitudinal vertical plane passing through the ocular reference point. The image of the left field of view should be presented to the left of the longitudinal vertical plane passing through the ocular reference point.
