WaveDFS Test for Wi-Fi

To support the growing variety of applications for Wi-Fi technology, EUROLAB has invested in the people, processes and equipment needed to provide quality assurance, compliance and certification tests to the highest possible standards. Working closely with VeriWave, we have been instrumental in developing the WaveDFS protocol to test Wi-Fi devices that share the spectrum with radar. FCC regulations require that any 802.11n access point should automatically switch to a different radio frequency when high priority traffic (such as radar signal) is detected on the same channel.

With WaveDFS, manufacturers have a fast and affordable Wi-Fi test solution:

  • No additional software or time-intensive programming required.
  • FCC automatically generates all types of pulses required to comply with ETSI and Japanese standards.
  • It can source and synchronize traffic without using an external player or other device.
