Wireless Device Testing

Wireless Compatibility Test

EUROLAB has years of experience in testing compatibility and functionality, especially on wireless products. The test covers the latest and greatest protocols and technologies, including Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and even cellular technologies (eg 4G LTE, CDMA, GSM, etc.).

Wireless Compatibility Test

The EUROLAB Wireless Test covers a wide range of wireless technologies including popular wireless standards such as 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and cellular standards such as CDMA / GSM. (Note: The following key test points are examples based on testing a Wi-Fi product and may not apply to all wireless protocols.)

The EUROLAB wireless interoperability test suite is capable of testing your product on most of the wireless chipsets on the market today. EUROLAB will also test your device among a wide variety of access points (APs), chipsets, laptops, desktops, operating systems, service packs and device system features.

EUROLAB can also test on your wireless router. A wide variety of wireless routers are available on the market (both for home and business) and requires testing to verify that they can work with a wide variety of access points and other routers.

EUROLAB can also perform the following tests to verify your wireless device:

RF Test These tests are designed to verify the performance of a device under test in various spectrum conditions. Tests can be done in a single package or separately.
Straight Channel - These tests evaluate the ability of the device under test to operate under controlled interference conditions. The transceiver is typically connected directly to the measuring device by means of a coaxial connection. Several noise patterns are introduced with various settings and the functional response of the device under test, efficiency, delay, etc. It is observed by measuring the data transmission characteristics.
multipath - These tests include propagation delay, Rayleigh fading, etc. of the device under test. It focuses on the response to such marginal multipath conditions. The results obtained by performing this test allow accurate product performance estimates in the “real” world.
Special Specification - EUROLAB also has the ability to develop and execute test packages for test equipment for registered manufacturer specifications. The Physical Layer Lab at the EUROLAB facility has extensive experience in physical layer analysis for most communication technologies available today. Thus, customized RF parametric packages are available to facilitate successful and timely product release.
Wireless Performance Field Test - This test suite covers efficiency and distance in multiple conditions. To measure performance, EUROLAB has developed three (3) typical “real world” test environments where we measure performance: 1) Commercial Business environment, angle of view; 2) Closed Office environment, line of sight and 3) Open Space environment, line of sight test. Each test environment is selected to measure certain common wireless situations.
