New technologies pose new challenges. It's great that your new crockpot has wireless to connect to your home wireless router, but how good is the connection? Does the ceramic pot or metal case or heating elements affect performance when open? If your stew area in the kitchen cannot effectively communicate with your wireless router in the TV room, what does it mean to have a smart device?

As a manufacturer, you need to know how well your product and potential traps work before you put them on the market. So how can you be sure that everything works for your customer? Have you tested interoperability with other products? Can your Crockpot talk to other wireless routers, for example? How is your product's performance and variety?
