RF Wireless Test

EUROLAB performs wireless RF regulator testing and RF immunity testing under EMC / EMI capabilities. In addition, we can do RF data recording / playback test in our RFR series systems designed to support RF testing in applications where the source signal is not ready in the laboratory where the units need to be tested.

RF Wireless Test

RF test These tests are designed to verify the performance of a device tested under various spectrum conditions. Tests can be done in a single package or separately.
Special specification - EUROLAB also has the ability to develop and execute test packs to test devices for registered manufacturer specifications. The Physical Layer Lab at the EUROLAB facility has extensive experience in physical layer analysis for most communication technologies available today. Thus, customized RF parametric packages are available to facilitate successful and timely product release.

In addition, EUROLAB can cover a wide range of transient and infrastructure mode tests, including throughput, media streaming, power management, roaming and security (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.). EUROLAB also carries out straight channel and multipath testing.

Our RF Test Capabilities

RF testing is performed in a protected, isotropic reverberation chamber where boundary conditions can be randomized using a shovel or tuner. These rooms offer the tester the option of mixing the space in one of two ways:

Mode-tuned RF testing involves pressing the paddle in place and applying RF for a long enough waiting time to test the equipment.
Mode-mixed testing causes RF energy to be applied and continuously rotated for a full paddle revolution.

Most of our test laboratories have anechoic rooms of different sizes and specifications.

Benefits of RF Test in Reverberation Room

RF testing in the protected reverberation room has many advantages. Testing in these conditions allows all sides of the device under test to be exposed to RF and meets the requirements for direct lighting testing required to comply with many regulatory standards. Also, constantly changing field densities eliminate the need for window effects testing and repeatability is improved.

The echo test is the preferred method for flight-critical avionics devices, as specified in the SAE ARP 5583 guidelines. It is also useful for any large or complex system that requires verification of RF immunity.
