3 technical routes are used for this test, the gel-clot technique based on gel formation; turbidimetric technique based on the development of color after cleavage of a synthetic peptide-chromogen complex.

01/2018:20614 Test Methods

Method A - Gel-clot method: limit test

Method B. Gel-clot method: semi-quantitative test

Method C. Turbidimetric kinetic method

Method D. Chromogenic kinetic method

Method E. Chromogenic endpoint method

Method F. Turbidimetric endpoint method

Any of the 6 methods is used for testing. In case of doubt or disagreement, the final decision is made according to Method A, unless otherwise stated in the monograph. The test is performed in a way that prevents endotoxin contamination.

Our organization, EUROLAB, provides testing services by our professional engineer staff within the scope of the 01/2018:20614 Bacterial Endotoxins test standard, within the framework of laboratory testing services.
