EN 12619 Fixed Source Emissions - Determination of Mass Concentration of Total Gaseous Organic Carbon

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 12619 standard. This European standard specifies a flame ionization detector (FID) method.

EN 12619 Fixed Source Emissions - Determination of Mass Concentration of Total Gaseous Organic Carbon

It is intended to be used as a standard reference method for measuring the mass concentration of gaseous and vaporous organic substances (expressed as TVOC) in stationary source emissions (e.g. emissions from waste incineration plants and solvent-using processes, emission measurements).

This European standard specifies requirements for an instrument using flame ionization detection, along with procedures for its operation. Results using this standard are expressed as total carbon (TVOC) in milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m³).

This European standard does not apply to permanently installed automated measuring systems (AMS). Alternative methods to this method can be used, provided that the user can demonstrate equivalence based on CEN/TS 14793 principles.
