It is also important to remove air from solid biofuel during heating to prevent oxidation. Therefore, the fit of the pot lid is critical. The moisture content of the overall analysis sample can be determined simultaneously with the volatile matter and appropriate correction can be made.

The test sample will be taken in accordance with EN 14778. A general analysis sample in accordance with EN 14780 will be prepared for moisture determination and volatile content determination. The nominal top dimension of the material shall be 1 mm or less.
