All reagents and chemicals shall be of quality recognized as "for microbiology" or better. The water used will be distilled or of equivalent quality. The use of commercially available dehydrated substrates is encouraged, provided they comply with the descriptions provided. It will be prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions.
